Handbags of Hope appreciates All of the wonderful products donated. However there are some changes taking affect immediatly. While full size products are generous and a nice thought, they aren't practical. The women in the shelters are in tight quarters with little space of their own for storage. The travel size products are easier to store. I personally have no room to store the products either. Remember I run this out of my basement. Your best way to help is through the following.
1. Handbag Drive; collecting handbags & wallets .
2. Hold a Filler Drive. Samples are welcome !
3.. Company sponsorship for an event. We'll advertise your company during the event and on our site.
We attempt to make each purse as uniform as possible. This way one woman doesn't receive any elaboratly done purse and the other open hers with only four items in it. Please folllow the list below when filling your bag. After these items you can add whatever you like.
WALLET,HAIRBRUSH,MEMOPAD/CALENDAR, MANICURE SET, LIP BALM, TISSUE, TRAVEL SIZE DEODORANT, SHAMPOO, & BODY WASH.
OTHER IDEAS; sunglasses, make-up, gum/candy, magazine, hairspray, gloves, scarf, etc.
